Ingredients:
- 1 cup DIVINA Mushrooms Marinated in Garlic & Herbs, drained, quartered
- 1 cup Cipolline Balsamic Onions , drained, chopped (reserve 2 tbsp marinade)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1-1 1/2 lb ground chuck (80% lean)
- 4 slices provolone
- 4 soft hamburger buns
- canola oil
- lettuce
- salt & pepper
Directions:
- Melt butter in a sauté pan over medium high heat
- Add mushrooms and onions and sauté until starting to caramelize
- Add reserved onion marinade and sauté until liquid is reduced and pan is mostly dry
- Divide the meat into 4 patties and season both sides with salt and pepper
- Brush burgers with oil and cook until browned on both sides and cooked to desired doneness, about 3-4 minutes per side for medium rare
- Add cheese to burgers during last minute of cooking
- Sandwich between buns with lettuce on the bottom and balsamic onions & mushrooms spooned over top
