Mulled Verjus Rouge

Sweeter than its alcoholic counterpart, this Mulled Verjus will fill your kitchen with the comforting fragrances of the holiday season. Our recipe makes 4-6 drinks.

Tip: Try making this in a slow cooker!

  • 750 mL Verjus Rouge
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 tbsp whole cloves
  • 1/2 tbsp whole allspice
  • 1 tbsp sugar, optional
  • cinnamon sticks & orange twists, for garnish
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and stir to combine.
  2. Simmer on medium low for at least 30 minutes and up to 3 hours.
  3. Remove and discard the orange, lemon, and whole spices. Add extra sweetener to taste.
  4. Serve warm in heatproof mugs, topped with your favorite garnishes.
