French Ham Sandwich (Jambon Buerre)


Ingredients:
  • 1 whole Baguette, sliced
  • 1 pound Ham, sliced
  • 10 leaves Lettuce
  • 1/2 pound Cornichon pickles
  • 4 tbsp. European butter
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
Directions:
  1. Slice a baguette. Spread the butter and mustard, equally, on both sides
  2. Layer one half of the baguette with crisp lettuce
  3. Layer one half of the baguette with ham and cornichon
  4. Combine the two layers and slice into individual portions
